About us
Melodious.me is all about communication, collaboration and ideas-sharing amongst all types of musicians and their professional colleagues. We are an invitation-only, music-oriented global community. We welcome music professionals and amateurs of all genres of music and all instruments (if you find one that’s missing, just tell us!), as well as other music-related professionals, such as sound engineers, photographers, agents, venues, event organisers, career advisors, etc. The basic site is free to use, and we respect your privacy - we promise not to pass on your information to any third parties.
Dimitris Havlidis

Dimitris is the main brain behind Melodious.me. He’s the one who tells us all what to do and makes all the big decisions. Dimitris has BA(Hons) degrees in both Computer Science and Graphic Design and holds a Master Degree in Social Psychology with his thesis on Web Cultures. He enjoys architecting applications, designing interfaces, talking about psychology and sociology and eating lemon pies. He is also a serious TV Series buff. Talk to him about code, cooking and photography and you will have his attention.
Janet Forbes
Head of Product

Janet is the one who makes sure that the final product, feature or service is useful and just right for you guys. Since she’s a professional musician herself, she has some idea of what might be helpful for musicians, but she’s always open to suggestions for improvement! When not performing or working for Melodious me, Janet’s favourite activities include space hopping, creating new recipes for her food blog, and testing the patience of her nearest and dearest by singing spontaneous songs about cheese, monkeys and dinosaurs.
Jason Horan

"Technique is just a means of arriving at a statement"
Jason is the most recent addition to the melodious.me team. Although he has been involved in the project only for a short time he has already become irreplaceable; we’re not really sure why, but we like him all the same. He is currently working as a web developer, coding all the nice things you see online. He enjoys all things musical - all genres, he does not discriminate (actually he does - no soulless music!). He has a slight addiction to collecting electronic, hip hop and funk n' soul records so be warned if out and about with Jason. He may disappear from time to time, only to be found in a nearby record shop, searching for some new vinyl friends.
